| "The previous owner that had purchased it new in 1989
had passed away recently. The Florida sun oxidized the paint and vinyl
woodgrain. I buffed out the paint and vinyl trim with Malco detail
products and brought its appearance back to life. I had to change the
brakes(all around) calipers, shocks,tune-up and a few other
modifications. The biggest job was sanding the trim moldings that were
peeling from the sun, and painted them with a light tan wood color to
match the previous color.I also replaced the Ford stereo system with a
Sony AM/FM Cassette Stereo with an amplifier, and a Awia 6 disc CD
Changer mounted under the rear flip seats. I love driving this car. We
will enjoy using it for weekend trips and to tow my Boston Whaler. Good Luck to all you Wagon Fans." Joe Carollo |
