The Good Stuff:
Buick 455 cid V8 engine
10:1 compression ratio
THM-400 automatic transmission
Posi rear with 3.42 gearing
The cam is approx. 113 deg. duration
Headers and 3" dual exhaust
Kurt used this wagon to haul his Mazda RX-7 arourd to races and as his daily driver. Why? Because it just wouldn't work the other way around.
Hood mounted tachometer
  303 HP and 376 ft/lbs of torque
  1/4 mile time - 13.65 @ 99.35 mph

Future Plans:
Unfortunately, he has to pull the engine as he has just lost a main bearring.
Finish up the paint job.

Updates:
5-17-2000: Engine has been rebuilt. During the rebuild I was able to identify the "mystery cam" as an old Crane HI-228/3000-2S-12, it is quite the bumpy cam and sounds great through the headers and the 3" duals, I also calculated out my compression ratio to
9.5:1, shortly after the rebuild I built a stock looking distributor with a Pertronix Ignitor in it as well as installing an MSD 6A ignition. The car is a real runner as well as a ton of fun to drive!
