What is it? 1972 Buick Skylark Custom Convertible

Background:
Paul just bought the car about 2 weeks ago (from 3/15/2000) froma guy in Connecticut that only out 10,000 miles on it in 10 years.

 

The Good Stuff:
Buick 350 cid Small Block V8
4bbl Rochester Quadrajet carb (Currently being rebuilt - 3/15/2000)
THM-350 Automatic transmission
Single exhaust system
Power steering
No A/C
The interior has been re-upholstered in cloth since the original black vinyl seats got too hot in the summer with the top down. While the seat was being recover, a pump-up lumbar support was installed.
New convertible top
Color - The color is a Jeep hue (Malibu yellow)
14" Buick Ralley wheels
Front disc brakes
Front and rear sway bars
Boxed rear lower control arms
KYB Gas shocks
The floor pans have been replaced.
All of the original front end bushings have been replaced with polyurethane.

 

Future Plans:
Install a Buick HEI to replace the original points distributor.
Install headers and a dual exhaust system.
Replace the 350 with a Buick 455.
Replace the stock hood with one from a Buick GS
Upgrade to 15" wheels
