| In Rob's own words: | |
| I purchased my Cutlass in March of 1997. I had been looking for a '87 442
locally but had not been able to locate one. In coarse of my search I came across
this one owner '88 CSCB with low mileage. The car was immaculate. I had not realized the
they had even made a '88. The only problem was that many of GM's cars of this age
had suffered a paint peeling problem. This medium blue metallic car was of no
exception. Some one had repainted it and had done a poor job, but body wise this car was very straight. I chose to do a complete repaint original color with a 442 paint theme. I chose to use the original color, although not a 442 color, because I did not want to try to pass off my car as a factory 442.
