Original Drivetrain: 229 V6 TH-350 tranny Current Drivetrain (what was in it when i bought it for $450): 455 Olds big block that runs like crap TH-400 that slips badly (the car barely moves) weak 7.5 inch rear-end (probably with highway gears) Drivetrain Plans: I have a 1976 350 2-bolt block that I will have 4-bolt splayed caps put on Edelbrock Performer RPM power package (heads/cam/intake/carb; 420HP/415 ft.-lbs. when Edelbrock built it) 700-R4 transmission built to handle this mighty mouse 8.5 posi rear-end upgrade with 3.73 gears Wheels & Body: Keystone Classics (15x6 front, 15x10 rear) with BFG Radial T/As Much-o bodywork to be done, inside and out (doors are in horrible shape, complete interior makeover, new hood, new paint) |
